Outside of creating memorable legacies for our clients, we are invested in creating legacies that shape a better world. Each year, weddings contribute to the use of hundreds of thousands of fresh cut flowers. And we are no different in this respect. We, ourselves, have used thousands of stems of flowers for our wedding designs. When designing, our clients are always given the opportunity to keep any of the arrangements, but the transparent truth is that many of our leftover flowers were going into the trash. In 2023, we made a pledge to change this. Now, we repurpose and donate leftover floral arrangements to the families of fallen heroes. What better way to honor their service than by giving flowers to their loved ones. Our heroes have included firefighters, police officers, state troopers and more. Once donated, our couples are sent a personal Thank You card with a photo of the donation and a receipt of the value of the donation for tax purposes. In the end, our Brides feel proud that whatever designs we create, their wedding will directly contribute to a cause and that their wedding is an opportunity to be a part of something that is larger than them.
